There’s an old saying that goes, “Clothes make the man.” We know that’s really not true, but what a person chooses to put on can tell you a lot about them … what they value … how they see themselves … what their priorities are.
When you and I “put on the Lord Jesus Christ,” it means we recognize His lordship over us. There is a whole new agenda in place. We think differently. We act differently. Our old desires are replaced by a new desire to be holy and pleasing to God. It also means that people should see Jesus “on us” and “in us.” So, let me ask you a question. What are you wearing today?
